Yesterday, I started my second tuition at Queenstown. The new student of mine is a cute indian boy named Shlok. One little indian boy~ Keke... He's studying in (UWC) United World Colledge of south east asia. To be short, its a famous private school.
According to him, he have 8 tuition sessions in a week. For what I known, he goes tuition at Kumon and Morris Allen too. Previously he have a home tutor who have left, so now I'm tutoring him. I'm thinking why the tutor left? or is it sacked by his mum?
Anyway, isn't it too tough for a boy in his age? I never have the chance of having so many tuitions in my life and if I'm able to choose, I'll not attend so many tuitions during my school life. I'm kind of pity his situation though.
I teaching him maths and science, but I started off with maths yesterday. He's an inteligent boy, he could do correctly the 2/3 of the maths practice I gave him. When I'm trying the questions which he could not do or did wrongly. Suddenly, he said "it's ok if you do not know how to do". After his words, I'm so gonna teach him a lesson by solving the maths questions and I did. Luckily I did not loose my face to the 8 year old boy. Thinking back, I didn't felt angry but just thinks that this boy is quite cute. So i was smiling away during the 1 and a half hours of lessons.
On my way home, I bumped into Jessica; a poly friend of mine. She stays at same condo too so she showed me the way through the maze of blocks and head to the Queenstown MRT station.
