Brisbane and Gold Coast July 2009

Having fun in Brisbane and Gold Coast on my last school holiday. A memorable trip during a cold winter without heater in Niao's house. 3 people snatch a blanket to keep warm. With the swine flu outbreak, we all caught flu, cought and fever. Lucky we are back at last :)

Calvin is a good partner to go trip with, he's very considerate and helpful. I have fun touring with him. Hope my next holiday trip with him come soon.

Staying at my dearest ex-colleague house for few nights, she cooked so many delicacies which I still miss it so much. It's mouth watering like steak, fushion pig throttle, desert and many many more... Orh... Miss her too!

And of cause, I enjoyed shopping there. Direct factory outlet (DFO), Harbour Town and Surfers Paradise. Cheap beach wear, flip flop and I bought a leather bag for just 10 Aus dollar O_O Gosh! hope to go back DFO again, I missed a shoe at Puma...

Lightning in Kranji

Today when I am going out to school, a heavy rain cames out in a sudden. Suppose to meet Haw wen in Marsling Mrt but she didnt board the train so I alight at the next station, Kranji; to wait for her. So I was sitting alone at the waiting seat at the end of the platform waiting for her to come, out in a sudden a loud 'Boming' sound and sparkle catch everyones attentions and the small tree in front me had striked by the lighting and follow by cloud of smokes coming out. Then, the birds flew away from nearby trees. I could felt the small shreds of the tree flew and hit my hand and leg. That was gross! I told Haw Wen, she almost caused me to death.

Great Movie 'Hotel For Dogs'

It is not a new movie, a theme which you may think it is just another old plot "DOGS" story. At first, I thought it is a comedy. But it is more than just dogs, it is so touching, funny, heart warming and encouraging to me. My tears dropped without a notice. Please do not hesitate to spend a couple of hours watching it. It is a very successing movie although it sounds a little fake but who knows miracles do happen.

Giving up

Today, I found out that I have already get used to her absent. I wont wake up very early and go to bus stop just to see her, I do not care who she's hanging out with and I have not been thinking or her already. Its true that time really cures... Now, when I thinks of her, I could only feels that I'm such a foolish guy.

Kuching Trip 2009

Day 1

Waterfront Lodge

Reach Kuching, walk around nearby shops near our lodge. The lodge is decorated with malay tradition wood craves. The city is a quiet but quiet place. The shops here closed very early which is around 9pm. The only shops to go during late night are the pubs and clubs. Unfortunately I've got no chance to go there for a look.

Day 2

Bako National Park

Cultural Village "World Harvest Festival"

Morning, visited Bako National Park. Have a thrilling ride a a small boat through the river which told to have crocs. In Balo, took the shortest path where some people of us could not make it anymore. I personal feels that if you are not an active in out door activities, Bako is not a good destination for you as it really needs a lot of time and energy. So, don't waste your transport fees and entrance fees which cost quite some money.

Afternoon, rushed to Cultural Village which is celebrating World Harvest Festival. Learned all kind of cultures and watched a fantastic performances from Sri Lanka, Scottland, and etc.

Evening, back to the hotel and then went for a seafood feast near town (forget to take photos, cos all are very hungry). Shop at the town after having a full dinner.

Day 3

Kuching Airport

Visited numbers of Museums, and then shops for our last time. Rushed back to lodge for wash up and packing our luggage. After lunch, heading to Kuching airport. Due to the packed schedule we have in Kuching, we all felt asleep in the airport, luckily we didn't miss the flight. For me, the trip is a memorable and most tired that I had so far. I look forward for another trip with them. Perhaps, it is the last trip before Cathleen further her study to US.

Tired

As I wanna make my holiday to the fullest as possible, i tried to put in as many events as I could in my 3 months holiday. Just back from Kuching last weekend, it's so tiring but memorable. It is a worth trip as the budget air are having promotion.

The current planning include Australia trip which Calvin will be joining me but as now he's having exam in UK so we could only discuss it online, furthermore as the time gap we are having which I could only chat with him in the middle of the night like 1 or 2a.m. which is his evening period in UK. Discussing issue online is very tiring, espeacially when we having a problem in booking air ticket. Airasia have a very big problem on it's webpage setup, which Calvin experienced the sudden blanked off or hanged in the process. Now the air tix have been increased to RM13oo instead of RM900 in the beginning.

The other planning is to go Malaysia, Haou Wah's hometown, Muar. Which is also in planning stage as all are too busy to discuss it. We intended to go before his exchange programme to Hong Kong.

Besides that, few birthday gathering and dinner with my frens which created more chances for us to conflict and then turn into cold war. I knew my temper is getting worst together with my sore throat which making me frustrated. But once again in my opinion, friend which do not considerate for each other will turn our relationship sour. If people who always keep looking at the bad one's have or a tiny little mistake people had made and forgot they're actually have a lot of virtues then there is no point carry on the relationship. I believes everyone do have their own virtues. Forget all those little mistake they had done and live your life happier, this is what I think.

Hard daze in NUS with jerks

4 months of torture is over, that was my second semester in NUS. Life is so meaningless after the exam. The unstopable assignments, projects, reports and quizes made the days passes real fast. In this semester, I sees new idiots and once again, I think they are really childish.

Some of these jerks are those people who broke their promises without valid reason. They would pretend nothing happens and then ponting the finger opposition. Although I do break promises, I will definitely first appologize and explain to them the reason behind. Sometimes, some people just won't understand the truth, so I could only say those stupid lies to hurt them. They chose not to accept the fact so I could only gives them lies. They forced me to.

For those who need to polish up their acting skills please do so during the 3 months holiday, I dont wanna hear those people who says this 'Ryian, I saw you wrote a lot in your answer script' but in the end they were the one submitting 2 booklets of answer scripts instead. I will be scolding 'shut the f*** up u son of the bit**!'

Please spare me for not acounting these idiots again.

Bad Luck

Friends have been asking me "Why were you being so unfortunate these day?"

I hope I could have the answer them too:( After my beloved adidas shoe was stolen, now is my precious thumb drive! The heart breaking news is, I was too kind to a thief. The story is like this:

Last wednesday, when most of course mate were rushing for the submission of a projet using "Primavera" but the Pc Cluster have insufficient seat. Me and Keith were doing finishing up for our project, so I decided to give my seat to a weird guy. I told him I am leaving, you can take my seat. The sad thing is I forget to plug out my precious thumb drive. When I got home and decided to start on my work, my thumb drive is no way to be found. So, I called Kok Beng who is still in the cluster, he told me the weird guy took it away but he didnt knew it belongs to me. At first, I thought he was just being nice to kept it for me till passed monday, I saw him in class, I asked him about my thumb drive, he said he did sw it but he didnt pick it up. LIAR!!! Worst is, he try to act innocent and nice by asking me whether I have important files inside and do I kept a back up? I was damn pissed off when I saw his expression!

All I can do now is cursing, why being nice but end up betrayed? Next time I dont wanna be nice to anybody le:( HAIZ....

New adidas shoe was stolen:(

My favorite black adidas was stolen, curses whoever stole my shoe! I want my shoe back! heart aching too ;( Haiz...

Why people like to steal shoe as shoe is so personal thing, and I have smelly feet leh! haiz... Don't they worry about getting smelly feet too? W-H-Y?

Damn Pissed Off Day

What a exaggerating bad Monday,

At first, heavy down pours when I'm about to go school, so I was wet, late and skipped the first hour of lecture.

Then, try to joke to a friend yet get scolded badly by the other friend. And the worst part is I was trying to help them. Am I wrong?

Even now, I have no mood to study for tomorrow quiz.

Childish Act

Mentioned some friends just wanna make me sick, those mature in their looks and age, yet act and joke just like a child.

Suppose to be a meaningful dinner but ended up messed up. To them, maybe it is a meaningful event laughing to people who are innocent non stop without letting them catch a breath. Or trying to push blames to people without knowing the actual fact.

I am the one being the stupid person and the cross hair pointing to me. Haiz... Next time, i don't want to be nice ady! Don't blame me for being bad boy.

Ah NIao fly off to Australia

Last Wednesday 18 Feb 2009, Ah Niao took the SQ235 to Brisbane, Australia for his study. Me, Huang, Alex and a friend of him were there at the airport. And of cos, his family too. His flight was 9.10pm but we reach there around 5pm, have a early dinner with his family then took some photos for memo.

He will be studying for 2 years, but he'll be back this November according to his SMS yesterday, he'd already miss Singapore very much. Time flies, I still remember he was applying the Uni there months ago now he was already there. My friends in Singapore is getting fewer and fewer... Hope I could graduate soon. I also feel like visiting him this coming May holiday. Wanna go Australia for holiday and have a free place to stay:) All the best to u, Niao!

Malaysia Trip 2009

This February, Me, Evan and Huan fulfilled our plan which was imcomplete last year. Last year, after our last paper from SP we had a Chinese New Year visit plus trip to Labis, Kluang and JB but due to time constraint, we were unable to climb up to the peak of Mount Lambak and visit to hot spring. So, we started our journey on friday after class heading to the first destination (Choon's house) to pay him a visit as he is resting at home.

On the second day, we went to Labis by bus. The bus took 3 hours to reach Huan house and we visited hot spring,

This year, at Labis Rail-way Station.

On sunday morning, we took a train to my home town (Kluang). The train took half an hour to reach, and we climbed to the peak of Mount Lambak which is approximate 1600 metres in 1 and a half hours.

Last year, at bottom of Mount Lambak, Kluang.

This year, up to peak of Mount Lambak, Kluang.

New location, hot spring at Labis.

New travel spots which we had visited due to longer time stayed. This time Choon was unable to join us as he was resting at home because of his old illness. Hope he could recover soon and we will have another round of visit with more new spots like Labis water fall and Institution of Animal Kluang if possible.

An Angel

When I was on my way home in the train. This angel is standing in front of me and we alighted at the same station. Isn't it fate? Hahaha... How I wish could see her again...

Chinese New Year 2009

I have a very short Chinese New Year break, so unsatisfied. I felt left out from my friends when their enjoying their 1 week break while i started school on the third day! So unfair! On the 1st day of CNY, I went to KL with my family and came back to kluang on the second day. On the third day I was back in Singapore but I skipped the morning class. The only comforting thing is Rui invited us to her house and made us a Gyoza feast. Went to school on Thursday and Friday, i rushed my English tutorial on friday night and went back to Malaysia on Saturday. 5 more days of CNY left, wonder if visit to Choon, Huan and my house can be fulfill? Choon is now back aching taking sick leaves at Malaysia home.

No Mood for CNY

Tomorrow is back to hometown day but right now, I had lost my new year mood cause the 1st English Tut is driving me mad. On the first lesson, she asked me to create a blog and write a 400 words summary on a article. Today, after blood donation, me and Haw Wen rushed to Woodlands library tried to finished it so I could go back tomorrow with an ease heart. 3 hours of brain storming and think very hard yet still could only wrote 200 words. Worst of all we still need to submit a comment to my 3 group mates. How could I possibly finished it by tomorrow?! I'm so furious now. What can I do? I'm really have no idea I could do it! sobs...:(

St. James

Last friday, Woan Qiu brought us to St．James. Paiseh, she and her boss treat us drinks. Ming Qi the birthday boy was forced by Woan Qiu's colleagues to drink 23 glasses since he's 23t birthday. Johnnie walker and Hennessy mixed with green tea, taste fabulous. But, of cos he couldn't take it till the 8 or 9 glasses. I'm started to fill tipsy after the 6th or 7th glass and Ah Niao threw up in the toilet after the 5th glass, he then talked to a waitress with a lousy pick-up line "how old are you?". =.=" WTH?! Yanto and Woan Qiu is the best drinker among us, keeps drinking yet without any change in their face.

We reached there around 10.30pm, drink and danced till 3+a.m. when they decided to go back, me and Niao proceed to McD at Harbour Front and had a breakfast then nap till 6a.m. Back home slept like a log till 1p.m.

1st weekend of semester 2

I do know whether is the CNY mood or the birthdays of frens around who makes me feel like the 1st weekend of the semester seems so important or maybe is because wanna go to St James with Ms Messy makes me feel so excited. Been 'pang seh' her a long time makes me felt guilty. If you're reading this, sorry ah... :P

The 1st week of semester it's quite slack cos there is no tutorial class yet but going out everyday till night with Ah Niao and Ah Huang makes me really tired though. I think I've been shoped around and around orchard, bugis and queensway and duh... used a lot of money:( Ah Niao intended to do preparation for his Australia study, need to buy some clothing but in the end makes my wallet slimed down too.

Wanna be thrifty for the year. Dont expect me to go for good dinner often k!

Clashes of Modules

Before my holiday ends, NUS (National University of Stress) [Quoted from Haw Wen] starts stressing again but it's through module bidding. The clashes of English module caused me unable to bid another CE module. So I called the CE staff to bid for me like last time or think of other alternatives. She first asked me to call English Department to change the lecture group but the things is not that simple as it thought because there is only 1 group of timing, so with the push and blow they tried to get rid of the matters I was then gotten furious and decided to complain to Dean's Office. With the help of Kathy from the Dean's Office, the matter should be solved soon.

2009 Wishes

For what unlikely things had happened in 2008, I wish it was the ugliest year that would never ever happen again in future. What I could wish in this new 2009, it is all starts afresh and as fun as it could be. My goal of the year:

• study hard and get good results
  
• drop my pounds
• live cheerfully
• get to know more opposite sex :x
